NFL schedule Week 15: What games are on today? TV channels, times for Saturday doubleheader

Normally, Saturday games would stand alone for the NFL, but in Week 15 of 2020, there are college football conference championships to compete with.

No matter, as the NFL seems to find a way to win every battle it fights. The Bills face the Broncos in the first game Saturday with the nightcap featuring the Packers and the Panthers. Both games will feature likely playoff teams against opponents angling for draft positioning, so it’s not the most intriguing of doubleheaders, but at least Josh Allen and Aaron Rodgers are in action.

The NFL has held Saturday games in December every season but one (2013) since 1970. The Bills played on Saturday last season, too, a loss to the Patriots, but the AFC’s current No. 3 seed has a chance to win against Drew Lock and Denver. Rodgers and Green Bay are also heavy favorites in a matchup with Teddy Bridgewater and the Panthers.

Here’s what you need to know about Week 15’s Saturday NFL doubleheader, including a full schedule, TV channels and start times for all three games kicking off Week 16.

What channels are NFL games on Saturday?

Here’s how to watch every game on Saturday.

Bills vs. Broncos

The Bills head to Denver in Week 15 with a chance to clinch a postseason berth. A win locks things up for Buffalo, and depending on what happens with the Dolphins on Sunday, the AFC East is within the grasp, too.

The Broncos will be looking to build on a huge Week 14 result against the Panthers, when Lock broke a streak of seven-straight games with an interception by throwing four touchdowns and no picks. Rookie wideout KJ Hamler twice showed his big-play ability to find the end zone.

Allen and the Bills are coming off two consecutive prime-time wins, first against the 49ers in Week 13 and then the Steelers in Week 14. There’s no doubt about Allen’s caliber as a quarterback at this point, and he’ll have one more chance to show it on national TV.

NFL Network’s Saturday opener will be announced by Adam Amin (play-by-play) and Mark Schlereth (color).

Packers vs. Panthers

The Panthers took a big swing by signing Teddy Bridgewater to a multi-year contract in the offseason, but it hasn’t worked out as Carolina’s struggled in part due to injuries to Christian McCaffrey. Lacking one of the best running backs in football for many weeks has meant the Panthers are forced to rely on Bridgewater more than they’ve hoped to.

The Packers have no problem relying on their quarterback, as Rodgers is contending with Patrick Mahomes for the league MVP. Davante Adams is making his case as the best wideout in football and gets a prime-time opportunity to make that case yet again. Adams has caught at least one touchdown in eight-straight games.

The NFL Network broadcast crew for this game will feature Mike Tirico (play-by-play) and Kurt Warner (color).
