Elizabeth Hurley shared ‘silly memories’ from filming ‘The Royals’: AKA, photos of the actress making funny faces in a white lace babydoll dress and lingerie.
Elizabeth Hurley, 55, is feeling nostalgic about her time on The Royals, which aired its final episode in May of 2018. So, the actress shared two throwback photos taken while she was shooting the E! drama series about a fictional royal family on Dec. 9. Elizabeth, who played Queen Helena on the show, was wearing a seductive white lace babydoll dress with matching lingerie underneath in the old photos — true queen energy!
“Silly memories of filming The Royals- it was a very happy four years #queenhelena,” Elizabeth captioned the throwback photos. The pictures also made Elizabeth’s co-star Margo Stilley, who played Harper on The Royals, nostalgic for their time in front of the camera. “So fun!!!!,” Margot commented.
Meanwhile, fans of the show missed The Royals just as much, which was unfortunately cancelled after four seasons. “I miss this show. It deserved an ending,” one fan commented, while another fan pointed this out too by writing, “reunion! reunion! we need closure!” However, others were too fixated over Elizabeth’s beauty to dwell over the past. “You look absolutely gorgeous in the two photos,” one fan gushed, and another wrote “Just getting better with age” after Elizabeth celebrated her 55th birthday this past June.
Since The Royals, Elizabeth has gone on to play Morgan le Fay on the Marvel series Runaways, and also starred in a romantic comedy film called Then Came You alongside Kathie Lee Gifford. When she’s not in front of a camera for shows or films, Elizabeth is in front of a camera modeling a swimsuit! She runs her own bikini company called Elizabeth Hurley Beach and often models her own pieces, such as this beige bikini with gold chain details — and all these other iconic swimwear pieces.
So, how does Elizabeth maintain the same body she’s had since The Royals? The answer is pretty simple. “If you like food, like I like food — you just have to be super active,” Elizabeth said in a virtual interview with Access in October. She added, “When I had nine people locked down with me [in quarantine] — we were super active. We found that we could eat a lot and we firmed up just through activity — no exercise, just doing stuff.”
